Hotel Bon Repos

Location. The Hotel Bon Retorn is located in the Alt Emporda¸ Region, Spain, 18 kilometres from the Mediterranean coast, one kilometre from the town centre of Figueras, and two kilometres from the train station.
Hotel Features. A characteristic whitewashed Spanish hotel, the Hotel Bon Retorn opened in 1969. It offers an indoor garage, as well as exterior parking, and the grounds include gardens, patios, and a swimming pool with dressing rooms. Wireless Internet is available, the hotel is fully air conditioned, and the front desk is open 24 hours.

The Bon Retorn restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (except on Mondays). The menu changes with the seasons to include dishes such as Foie Gras with Apple and Fig Compote and Cold Fruits Soup, and the restaurant is set over three dining rooms.

Nearby facilities include those for horse riding, tennis, and yoga. Within 20 kilometres, there are also various beaches and golf courses including the Club de Golf Peralada, Torremirona Golf Club, and Mas Pages.

Guestrooms. The 50 guestrooms at Bon Retorn are decorated with warm colours and modern furniture. All include bathrooms, cable television, and minibars.

Expert Tip. The Dali Museum was built in Figueras by the artist himself, the town being Dali's birthplace. The building itself is unusual, with giant eggs perched on the battlements. Inside you can view the artist through his own eyes: 'Soft Self Portrait with Fried Bacon' is only one among the 4000 pieces of Dali's work which the museum holds.
