Location. The Catalonia Aviny¾ is located in Barcelona, Spain, 400 metres from Barcelona Cathedral, 1.5 kilometres from Placa Catalunya, two kilometres from Las Ramblas, and 2.5 kilometres from the Barcelona Opera House.

Deliciously dark, it dates from the 14th and 15th centuries with a 19th Century Neo gothic faþade, though the cloister, the ogival ribbed vaults, the pulpit, and choir stalls are the most remarkable artistic features. Keep an eye out for goats grazing inside the cathedral grounds.
