Hotel Neptuno

Location. The Hotel Neptuno is located in the lively Costa Brava resort of Calella, Spain, 50 metres from a pedestrianised shopping area, 200 metres from the beach, and 49 kilometres from Barcelona.
Hotel Features. The Neptuno Calella is a quiet, family run hotel with attractive, planted balconies overlooking an outdoor pool and sun terrace. Multilingual staff can arrange currency exchange and airport transport. Other amenities include complimentary Internet access and laundry facilities.

There is a poolside bar and restaurant which demonstrates show cooking and serves a buffet menu. The hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast, and guests on the half board rate plan are not charged for the appropriate meals.

The hotel puts on entertainment including Flamenco and Latin shows two or three times a week. In July and August there is children's entertainment with activities and games. Guests can hire umbrellas for the beach, bikes, and pushchairs, at no charge.

Guestrooms. There are 100 rooms at The Hotel Neptuno, built over four floors. All rooms open onto balconies and feature white painted walls, marble floors, neutral toned soft furnishings, and wooden furniture. Room amenities include hair dryers, safes, satellite television and direct dial phones. The hotel offers a half board rate.

Expert Tip. The beach at Calella is excellent, but Calella old town has its attractions too. The narrow streets and whitewashed houses centre around the pleasant Placa de l'Esglesia, there are good shops on the main streets, and a generous selection of cafÚs, bars, and restaurants.
