Miramar

Location. The Hotel Miramar is located in Lloret De Mar, Spain, right by the beach and the seafront promenade in the centre of the town's historic and commercial centre. Buses run from the railway station at Blanes, six kilometres away, which connects to Barcelona Airport.
Hotel Features. The Miramar is a modern five storey building of grey and green, an exterior matched by the palms that grace the tiled lobby with 24 hour front desk. An Internet corner offers complimentary access, and there is an outdoor swimming pool and solarium. Parking is available for 14 EUR per day in a private and secure garage 100 metres from the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

The main restaurant at the Miramar serves buffets and a menu of Mediterranean and European dishes. A buffet breakfast is complimentary to guests, and the bar restaurant outside the hotel on the promenade serves typical Mediterranean dishes, as well as cocktails and ice cream, with sails in the tables conjuring a romantic seaside ambience.

Scooters can be rented nearby to explore the town and surroundings, and horse riding is also available close to the hotel. The nine hole golf course at Club de Golf l'Angel de Lloret is five kilometres away.

Guestrooms. The 54 guestrooms at the Miramar are air conditioned and equipped with satellite television, direct dial telephones, and safes. Each has a private bathroom with tub, shower, bidet and hair dryer. Rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Expert Tip. Figueres was th e birthplace of Salvador Dali, and there is a museum dedicated to his work designed by the great surrealist artist himself. The museum circles an open courtyard with an installation of a black Cadillac mounted b y a bronze goddess and a column of tyres.
